Francophone immigration to Nova Scotia :
A success story since 2003!
In 2003, an ambitious project was born: to encourage Francophone immigration to Nova Scotia
Essential partnerships with the Fédération acadienne de la Nouvelle-Écosse (FANE) and the federal and provincial governments have made it possible to :
- Promote Nova Scotia to French-speaking immigrants.
- Recruiting and welcoming newcomers.
- Facilitate the integration of immigrants into the Francophone community.
Since 2006, Immigration francophone de la Nouvelle-Écosse has helped thousands of newcomers settle and thrive in Nova Scotia.

Mandate
Immigration francophone de la Nouvelle-Écosse pursues the following objectives:
- Increase the number of Francophone newcomers who settle in Nova Scotia and retain them;
- Promote the integration of these newcomers into the province, and more specifically into the Acadian and Francophone community;
- To increase the welcoming and integration capacity of Nova Scotia's Acadian and Francophone communities.
